That morning, you were already up and packing.
You took my leash and I was so happy.
A little walk before the vacations.
We set off in the car.
You stopped at the side of the road, the door opened, you threw me a stick...
I ran, I ran, I caught it, but when I turned around, you were gone.
Panic-stricken, I ran in every direction to find you, but it was in vain.
Every day I grew weaker.
A man came up to me, put a leash on me and I found myself in a cage.
I waited for you to return, but you never came.
The cage opened...
It wasn't you, it was this man who picked me up.
He led me into a room that smelled of death.
My time had come...
Dear master, I want you to know that despite what you did to me, it was your image that came back to me before my last breath, and if I could return to earth, it would be to you that I would run, for I loved you!
