The dog's prayer

Thanks to

Myriam

When I am born, you will choose me
And for life, you will keep me
And if sometimes in the house I forget myself
Forgive me, I'm still little.
You'll see, when I grow up,
I'll be clean and wise.
I won't ask for much
A caress and some bread.
In return for all this I'll look after your possessions

And let no one bother yours.
My love and loyalty will grow for you.
You will be my world, my future and my joy.
You will be my lord and master.
But please, I beg you,
Don't forsake me

Don't forsake me...
