In tribute to

Kip, the exceptional doggie

Thanks to

Anne Sophie

It was April 17, 2003, and since that day, the day I'll never forget, I've been inconsolable.

Kip was 14, and it was testicular cancer that took him away from me.

Poor Pépère... I know he suffered.

I dragged my feet too long before I had the courage to take him to my vet to put him out of his misery.

But I couldn't help myself, and I'm sure you'll understand.

How could I imagine for a moment having to go on without him... of never being able to hold him close to my heart again.

"KIP was an exceptional pooch.

So beautiful, so gentle, so affectionate.

He was a Pyrenean Shepherd.

KIP was KIP, he was Unique, and KIP in my heart will remain the greatest love of my life.

His ashes are on my bedside table, and I asked my mom that if one day I were to go to heaven, that my dad's ashes be mixed with mine.

My mom assured me that she would respect my wishes.
