| We've lost loved ones in our family, and I never imagined, after going through so much, that the death of a dog could cause so much grief and create such a void. But you were a loved one too, and extremely precious. You were a family member in your own right. Your sudden death was too mysterious for me, and you didn't deserve it - in fact, no animal deserves what happened to you. I witnessed your first breath and couldn't be there when you breathed your last. Anthony, Jeremy and I came to say goodbye, but the doctor said you were gone. Please wait for me upstairs because I'm sure we'll meet again. The only pain you ever gave me was leaving so soon. Forever in my heart. |
