| Bouboule, you left us too soon... You were 12 years old, my baby! I would have wanted you for years... I wish you'd never left. I grew up with you, I was only 5 when you came into my life and you always knew how to protect and love me, even if at one point I abandoned you because I had changed too much when I came back to you, you were still waiting for me with open arms even after that abandonment. You never blamed us for forgetting you outside on a cold winter's night... The next day, we thought we'd find you dead... After that night, I was more afraid than ever of losing you. But we had to have you euthanized because you had 2 hernias in your rectum and it was hurting too much... I still remember all those times I cried with you because you were suffering, but I'll never, ever forget the last time I held you in my arms because not long afterwards, you were leaving for another world and I cried and you, strong as ever, dried my tears with your tongue as if to tell me to stay strong, but without you nothing is the same, even with Guizmo who looks so much like you... Even if it's as if you'd still be around a little, since he looks just like you, I miss you... I still love you so much my baby! I miss you baby dog. |
