This ancient Koochee sage is Djence Palangi's steppe type. Smaller than the mountain type and larger than the desert type, the Afghan tiger dog looks like a cross between the two. Its head can be described as balanced, between the molosser and lupoid types, with the body closer to the mountain variant. The Djence Palangi is the most aggressive of the Koochee wise dogs. A tireless hunter, it is a tiger-rated dog, but is generally used as a caravan protector. Elongated, independent and beautifully molossed, this is a very stubborn breed, appearing somewhat lethargic when not working, but is a very fast runner when necessary. Coat type varies between short and long, depending on the season. All colors are accepted. Average height is around 81 centimeters. |
