In tribute to

My Chucky, my angel, my friend

Thanks to

The She-Wolf

It will soon be a year, my beautiful friend, since you left.

On April 24th 2004, snuggled up against me, you gave your last breath of life.

Old age took you...

You gave me 14 years of happiness, 14 years I'll never forget, 14 years that will forever be engraved in my heart.

I have only one regret, my faithful friend, and that's not being able to enjoy with you the beautiful things that life has to offer right now.

I wish you could still walk beside me, so that together we could once again bite into life as we always did when your young paws allowed you to.

I owe you everything, my beautiful angel! You were 6 weeks old when I held you close to my heart for the very first time, and I was 16.

I knew from that moment on that you would change my life forever.

I had finally found an ally, a friend, an angel...

I promised to always look after you, and in return you promised to guide and protect me until the woman in me was born.

I kept my promise and you kept yours.

You gave me the strength to fight for my dreams.

Your ardor, your dissuasive, rebellious temperament, your exemplary loyalty, the respect that humans and your fellow canines showed you were an example to me.

You gave me the passion to discover the canine world, you gave me the flame to want to understand your four-legged brothers.

You led me to want to live in the countryside and to live in harmony with animals.

You developed in me a love so great...

Today, at the age of 30, I'm the owner of my own home and a business that's finally seeing the light of day.

The profession of dog trainer fills my life, and everything I've achieved today I owe to you.

You opened my eyes and helped me see beyond the dog.

There are no words powerful enough to express the gratitude I feel towards you.

We miss you my beautiful friend, all your human friends still talk about you, all your canine friends remember the loyal pack leader you always were...

You live on in us and in the company that bears your face.

Now it's our land where you rest, next to wise Esmeralda and sweet little Shannie.

I'm sure you still take your role as protector seriously, and that you must watch over them and even over us.

I miss you, my old wolf, and thank you, thank you for sharing my life so wisely.

I love you, my angel.
