| Vinny, my sweetheart, my little dog with a big heart, on Saturday August 13 I went to the vet to pick up your ashes. He gave me a pretty pink box, and I cried as I held it close to my heart, it was all I had left of you, my sweet little animal. When I got home, I put your ashes on the living room table and sat down next to my husband, we were both devastated. The phone rang and a miracle happened. My husband, who suffers from kidney failure, had been waiting for a transplant for several years and we had lost all hope. Now I know there's a little ball of love watching over us. My heartfelt thanks go out to the donor's family, who have unfortunately been through a lot. |
