In tribute to

You Moumousse

Thanks to

Sylvie

Moumousse you who left us on May 21, 2011.
You Moumousse, who was the dearest dog in the world to us, sadly left us at the age of 14.
We are so saddened by your absence
Alone on this austere path
We walk on, it's so cold
It's winter in our hearts.
What has become of all those birds
With their melancholy songs so bewitching?
Who once danced beneath your window?
Have they lost my address?

Even the flowers no longer shine with their former brilliance
Depriving us of the perfumes you loved so much
We now fear the evening breeze that reminds us
Of that day when the lights went out in your eyes.
So fragile yet so strong the one who mourns her dog in silence
Carrying this suffering on her shoulders with dignity
Concealing tears and pain behind that elegant hair.
We're so sad to miss you.
Valiant and brave warrior
Fighting to the bitter end
On your bed of pain
You give hope to visitors.
When twilight comes
Memories invade us
It's raining in our hearts
We are so sad, so sad for your absence...

We long to see you soon in paradise,
Divine promise...
