In tribute to

My Kofi

Thanks to

Heidi

Kofi, you've gone to animal heaven, leaving me in great distress.

You had become a huge part of our family.

You knew how to make people love you, you clever little rascal, you charming little scoundrel.

With no more children at home, we became attached to this little being who knew how to repay us so well.

We had to cream you every day, and you wriggled around so much you loved being creamed.

Then you'd run off to where the treats were, because you thought you'd earned it.

You were my funny girl, as I liked to say.

You became very, very affectionate.

If you only knew how much I love you, how much we love you, my Kofinoux love.

Finette is looking for you everywhere, you who were playing the great seducer's game with her.

I wish I could have had a little more time to love you.

You'll always be in our hearts.

What happiness the day our paths crossed!

You rest in the garden next to Sponky, where when the weather's nice I can put flowers on your grave, where there's a blanket of snow now.

I love you, my Kofinoux, my funny girl, I miss you, we miss you.
