In tribute to My little darling IrisThanks to Anne and Jean-Claude |
My owners had decided, against the advice of our grandparents, to have another dog, and despite everything, I came into the household to keep them company with my brother. Over the years, I gave them all their happiness and shared their sorrows, making them laugh with my mimicry of all kinds, and as I was very mischievous, I didn't fail to do it often enough. Unfortunately, in my short life, I couldn't give them children - I didn't want to, they were sad about it. Until that fateful moment, when my master wanted to take us for our daily walk, and as I had become, despite my age (8), a quiet little granny who took her time with everything, I let myself live in peace. Usually, our neighborhood is very quiet and there are rarely any cars on the road, but on that cursed day, our neighbor, who was on vacation, asked the police to keep an eye on her apartment. The policeman arrived, and my master, who didn't like to be tied up, started to cross the small road, when the car appeared at high speed and didn't have the reflex to slow down or brake, killing me in front of my master's eyes, what a sad day for them. I know my masters are always thinking of me. In the photo, I'm on the left next to my brother Gaywin. |
