In tribute to

To my Fifi

Thanks to

Sylvia

When you arrived from the SPA, I pushed you away, Phébus' disappearance still being too painful.

I was just a child.

But you quickly adopted me and won my affection.

You were the girl of the house, always ready to play, work and cuddle.

I taught you to count, and you amazed all our guests.

Then you gave birth to 9 babies that we pampered.

Iggins, your little protégé, became my darling.

Thank you for putting him in my path.

You left for Mexico with your masters and Ipsos.

How could I forget my pain as I watched you leave in your cages at the airport...

At Christmas our reunion was a great moment of happiness.

You slept on my bed at night, in secret...

Then in 2001, you fell ill and I knew nothing about it.

On November 27, the phone rang.

Dad told me they hadn't been able to save you.

But what had happened? After your son, you...

So many tears...

My greatest regret is not having been able to help you overcome your illness, and not having been able to hug you goodbye.

Today you've joined your sons and are resting beside us at home.

I'll never forget you.

I love you so much.
