In tribute to

To my little Cornflower

Thanks to

Aurore

To my little cornflower, my little parakeet, my little bird...

I could see that you had grown old.

Your fragility had brought us closer together...

I see you again, six years ago, so arrogant...

It wasn't easy to tame you, and your bites left me with a few scars.

Then came the miracle...

You jumped at my approach, answered my calls and tenderly poked your little head into my neck as I typed on my keyboard.

As I do today.

Without you.

This Sunday, you chose to fly away.

For good.

But you had the elegance to wait for me to wake up.

To say goodbye...

Thank you, my little Cornflower, for all the happiness you gave me for six years.

I miss you so much...
