In tribute to

To Lena, my dog, my friend

Thanks to

Sandrine and Christophe

It was on a Sunday in December 1988 that you joined Sandrine and me.

Since that day, you've never stopped giving us all your love without asking for anything in return.

We played sports together, Pattball for hours on end, and for years we laughed and cried, but only the good things remained.

Then, just like us, you got older and many years later your bones began to ache, your muscles no longer allowed you to run and going down the stairs became an ordeal.

The vet managed to give you some relief, but the years don't just go away, and they eventually caught up with you.

Then one day in February this year, your "mom" and I couldn't stand seeing you suffer any longer, and with a heavy heart we decided to put you out of your misery.

It was the most painful day of our lives, and our hearts were, and still are, torn by your absence, which weighs on us at every moment.

We think of you every minute of the day, missing you more than anything.

We can never forget you, and I hope that wherever you are, the love you gave us will be returned to you a hundredfold, that's our only wish, because you truly deserve it.

ADIEU LENA, our love will be with you forever.
