In tribute to

To my Guigou

Thanks to

Sylvia

You were born at home and captured our full attention from day 3.

We became very attached to each other, quickly becoming inseparable.

You were a dog apart, dreamy and gentle.

In your world, you devoted yourself to me with unfailing loyalty and love.

You, My Iggins, who wouldn't eat unless I held the bowl, who wouldn't come into the house unless I asked you to, who knocked on my door in the morning for a cuddle...

I devoted 4 years of my life to you, and my greatest pleasure was coming home to you.

Sadly, cardiomyopathy took you too soon.

I'll never forget the look on your face after you fainted.

I know you preferred to leave with Dad to spare me the pain.

I thank you for waiting until after the tests...

You put Rami in my path and you protect me from up there.

It's been 7 years since you left me and my tears still haven't dried.

To those who tell me that we should only think of the good times, I say today that "the memory of happiness is no longer happiness, the memory of pain is still pain".

I love you.
