A brief presentation of the Mini Bolonauzer
The Mini Bolonauzer is a rare hybrid that is a specific cross between the Bolognese Bichon and the Miniature Schnauzer. These designer dogs often appear small, strongly built and deep-chested. Their most distinctive features are their thick, dense coats, which can be stiff or straight. Mini Bolonauzers are friendly, gentle companions that are easy to train and get along well with children and other pets. These hybrids may not be suitable for apartment living due to their tendency to bark excessively. Overall, if you like to keep busy and live in a home with plenty of space for the Mini Bolonauzer to roam and explore, it will make a wonderful addition to the family and enjoy following you virtually everywhere.

History of the Mini Bolonauzer
The Mini Bolonauzer is a new hybrid in the dog world and is thought to have appeared in the mid-to-late 2000s. Little is currently known about this hybrid, and it is not yet recognized by any kennel club or registry of creators. The Mini Bolonauzer is considered a rare breed because it is descended from the Bolognese Bichon, a rare purebred that belongs to the Bichon family.

The Bolognese Bichon is considered an ancient breed that may have existed for over 2,000 years, and was a favorite of many monarchs. The modern Bolognese can be traced back to an Italian city known as Bologna. These aristocratic dogs often served as pets and mouse hunters for wealthy individuals.

A little of the Miniature Schnauzer
The Miniature Schnauzer is a breed that can be traced back to northern and central Germany. The breed was originally created in the 1800s by two Schnauzer and Affenpinscher enthusiasts who crossed the standard Schnauzer with the Affenpinscher, resulting in the modern Miniature Schnauzer. The Miniature Schnauzer was bred for the sole purpose of hunting vermin and protecting the herd, but today they are mainly considered pets.

Appearance of the Mini Bolonauzer
The Mini Bolonauzer is a small, compact and solid dog. These hybrids often appear to have dense, long double coats that can often be stiff or straight and coarse to the touch. The Mini Bolonauzer's head is rectangular in shape, while the muzzle tends to be long. The eyes are often dark brown and deeply sunken, the ears tend to be set high on the head but are often small and drooping downwards. Mini Bolonauzers have long, muscular bodies, short legs and high, sickle-shaped tails. Attractive and energetic, this courageous breed is ready for action and looks the part.

Temperament of the Mini Bolonauzer
The Mini Bolonauzer is energetic and an affectionate companion that does well in all types of family homes. These dogs are easy to train, and if socialized at a young age, they get along quite well with children of all ages, as well as with other pets. The Mini Bolonauzer can be a little bossy and exuberant, and may chase the family cat away if bored. These events are not often aggressive and are simply your hybrid's way of entertaining himself. When meeting strangers at the door, the Mini Bolonauzer can be a little protective of the house and will show this by excessive barking. However, once accustomed to visitors, these hybrids tend to relax and make friends.

Needs and activities of the Mini Bolonauzer
Mini Bolonauzers don't require intense physical activity to meet their energy needs. They are often quite content if walked 3 times a day for around 20 to 30 minutes at a time. These dogs can be quite social and are encouraged to participate in dog play groups and visits to off-leash dog parks. They will enjoy a good ball chase, retrieving, training and hiking. Although this hybrid may be on the low end of the exercise scale, don't neglect to give him time outdoors. If he gets bored, he can be quite a handful. Unfortunately, many Mini Bolonauzers tend to be barkers and are therefore not suited to apartments or urban lifestyles where neighbors may be disturbed by his love of voice.

Maintenance of the Mini Bolonauzer
The Mini Bolonauzer is not a low-maintenance dog, and owners should be aware that these dogs will require regular professional grooming. The Mini Bolonauzer has a long, dense coat that can be prone to matting. To keep its coat in good shape, it's essential to brush your hybrid's coat weekly with a pin brush to loosen knots and make the coat smooth. These hybrids can be prone to doggy odors, so they may need to be bathed once or twice a month to keep them smelling their best. Some owners may choose to use a mild dry shampoo or pet spray if their dog's skin is too sensitive for a regular bath. This hybrid is hypoallergenic, low-slobbering and non-shedding. The Mini Bolonauzer is prone to dental disease. Because of the risk of tooth loss and decay, teeth must be brushed several times a week. Ears should be checked and cleaned regularly. Nails should be trimmed every 6 to 12 weeks.
