A brief presentation of the Bully Bordeaux
The Bully Bordeaux is a hybrid breed. Its parent breeds are the Bullmastiff and the Dogue de Bordeaux. It is considered a giant breed and often bears the closest resemblance to its Bullmastiff parent. It's a very affectionate, child-friendly dog. In fact, this giant breed loves to spend time indoors with its family. He'll need plenty of exercise, but he'll need to spend that time with you. He has a rough coat that doesn't require much maintenance. He is above all a companion dog, and even if he is a very big dog, he will try to spend as much time as possible on his owner's lap.

History of the Bully Bordeaux
The Bully Bordeaux is a hybrid breed. To understand the history of the Bully Bordeaux, we need to study its parent breeds. The combination of these extra-large breeds has given us a calm, noble hybrid that makes a wonderful addition to a family, teaching owners to strive to match its sensitive nature. The Bully Bordeaux is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club, the Backwoods Bulldog Club, the Designer Breed Registry, the Designer Dogs Kennel Club, the Dog Registry of America and the International Designer Canine Registry.
        

A little of the Bullmastiff

         
The Bullmastiff is a descendant of the Molosser, believed to have originated in the mountains of Asia. Mastiffs are depicted in ancient Greek and Egyptian works of art. The Mastiff was once a sheepdog and was also used in war by Kubla Khan. Unfortunately, the Mastiff has also been used as a fighting dog. However, the Mastiff is a fairly gentle breed today.

A descendant of the Molossus, the Bordeaux Mastiff is in fact another type of Mastiff dog. It originated in France. Wild boar and jaguar hunters, guardians of people and property, even cattle breeders, the Bordeaux Mastiff was prized for its versatility, courage and intelligence. The best-known Dogue de Bordeaux is the adorable giant dog that starred alongside Tom Hanks in Turner and Hooch. The Bordeaux Mastiff was added to the American Kennel Club registry in 2008.

Appearance of the Bully Bordeaux
The Bully Bordeaux is a giant-sized dog. It is often dark brown, rusty or tan. It may have white markings. It has a large, broad head and a muscular body. His face will often have large flaps of skin and he will usually have brown or hazel eyes. He has a short, rough coat, a long tail and floppy ears. His gait is determined and his attractive face shows a kind heart inside.

Temperament of the Bully Bordeaux
The Bully Bordeaux is a gentle giant. He's playful, energetic and loving, especially with children. It can be intimidating because of its size, but it's not an aggressive dog. He is, however, loyal and protective of his family. He can be stubborn, and some experts do not recommend the Bully Bordeaux to new dog owners. He needs training from an early age, and it must be firm and consistent. He can be stubborn and impatient. This sweetheart doesn't like to be left alone for long periods, and can be destructive if bored alone.

Needs and activities of the Bully Bordeaux
The Bully Bordeaux is a fairly active dog. However, it should be an indoor dog. Above all, the Bully Bordeaux wants to be with its family. He may suffer from separation anxiety if he spends a lot of time away from his family, which could lead to chewed furniture or other destruction inside your home. Most owners agree that at least one hour of exercise a day is optimal for the Bully Bordeaux. The Bully Bordeaux loves trips to the dog park and playing with children. Because of its size, some may find it intimidating, so plenty of trips to the park will allow it to hone its people skills and work energetically at the same time.

Maintenance of the Bully Bordeaux
The Bully Bordeaux is actually a very low-maintenance dog. You could brush him once a week. Bathe him only when necessary, as his natural oils will keep his coat healthy and shiny. If your Bully Bordeaux puppy inherits Mastiff wrinkles, you'll need to clean the wrinkles daily to avoid bacterial infections. To clean, use a damp washcloth to wipe between the wrinkles. Make sure you don't leave the area damp, as this could encourage bacterial growth. You should brush your hybrid's teeth at least three times a week, but if you want to prevent gum disease, brush every day. Trim your dog's nails every two weeks and watch for lameness, which could mean a broken nail.
