Needs and activities of the Lacasapoo

| The Lacasapoo will enjoy a moderate amount of activity, which may include walks with its humans as well as playing outside at the dog park or with its family. Dogs of this breed have a good amount of energy and will appreciate opportunities to get that energy out. Because of its relatively small size, the Lacasapoo will be able to meet a large part of its activity needs by playing indoors and accompanying its family. An apartment or house will suit hybrid dogs, who won't need a large indoor space. A fenced-in yard is not necessary, but would give the hybrid a place to play and get fresh air when the weather's nice. |
Maintenance of the Lacasapoo

| A moderate amount of grooming and maintenance will be required for Lacasapoo. Lacasapoo's loss will depend on the type of coat it inherits. If the coat is more like that of a Poodle, for example, the loss will be minimal. Regular trimming or stripping at the groomer's may be necessary, and bathing should be done only when necessary to avoid damaging the natural oils in his skin. Lacasapoo's ears should be cleaned weekly with an ear cleaning solution, at which time you can also confirm that there is no infection present. Lacasapoo's teeth should be brushed several times a week to ensure long-term dental health. |
